Outside of my research life, I am an endurance coach, competitive triathlete, and podcaster with The Endurance Drive, a triathlon and multi-sport coaching company based in Hanover, NH. I also coach the Dartmouth College Triathlon Team. I have qualified for and competed at the IRONMAN World Championships three times, finishing 14th in my age group in 2019 and 10th in my age group in 2021 (coverage here and here).
